An average session on this site lasts for more than 4 minutes with an average page/visit of 4.63. Other than that, it has a bounce rate of 20.43% which is lower than YTS’s 33.15%.

Under the logo, you’ll find three links – ‘Browse Torrents’, ‘Recent Torrents’, and ‘Top 100’. Under that, there’s a search bar followed by six category options – ‘Audio’, ‘Video’, ‘Applications’, ‘Games’, ‘Porn’, and ‘Other’. You can either search for content by clicking on these options or you can do a manual search.

Header – In the header section of the website, you’ll find two boxes. By using one on the right, you can choose the category you want to find the torrent file in.

Inner Pages – As mentioned earlier, there are not many graphical elements to break the monotonous text-heavy nature of the website. There are seven options – ‘Category’, ‘Name’, ‘Upload date’, ‘Size’, ‘Seeds’, ‘Leeches’, and ‘Uploaded by’. If you click on any title, you’ll be taken to an inner page which yet again is filled with text.

Content – There’s no dearth of content on this platform. It is filled with torrent files across various categories. Each content category has thousands of files that are updated regularly. For instance, just in the movies section, more than 100s of torrent files are added each day.

Suggestions I have for The Pirate Bay

The only problem with The Pirate Bay is that you never know if the file you’re downloading is safe or not. And that’s mostly because the torrent files available on the site aren’t scrutinized well. Remember, it takes only one wrong file to damage a user’s entire system. I hope the developers pay attention to that.
